Health Toll for Shift Workers

New survey results released by Men’s Health Network and Cephalon, Inc. found that the majority of shift workers (79%) believe that they are negatively impacted by their shift work and report issues associated with work productivity, negative emotions, concern about sex life and decreased time spent with family. Nevertheless, of the 52% of shift workers who want a change in job or hours, most don’t think it will be possible in the near future and 44% feel that they will have the same job until they retire.

T-Talk Tune-Up Men’s Health Event

Did you know that almost 70 percent of men find it easier to care for their cars than for their personal health? Since June is Men’s Health Awareness Month, Men’s Health Network commissioned a survey with Abbott Laboratories in order to assess men’s and women’s knowledge of common men’s health issues and to gain insight into men’s understanding of their health as it relates to car care. The survey is part of the T-Talk Tune-Up national campaign.
